About Anbudan Thamil Concert

Anbudan Thamil is a Tamil concert organized to support an important Tamil project that promotes Tamil language & culture worldwide. The first Anbudan Tamil Concert was held virtually in 2021, benefiting the Toronto Tamil Chair Project, and reached over several thousands of viewers worldwide.

The event is entirely a volunteer-driven effort where performers, speakers and organizers, all volunteer their time for the greater good of Tamils and to support a noble Tamil cause that will make Tamils proud globally. Proceeds of the funds raised including sponsorship are donated towards the project after overhead such as hall rental, sound systems etc.

Anbudan Thamil Concert in 2023 is being organized to support a Monument for an important Canadian born Tamil scholar George Uglow Pope in his birthplace Bedeque, PEI.
